Opened since 2002, Villa la Bella is a large Caribbean home with 6 rooms to provide adults (18 and over) with intimate accommodations in a peaceful atmosphere. Property features an outdoor fresh water pool, hammock pergola, ocean side swing bar and seating in a unique open-air living room atmosphere. The main house features a large palapa living room with a vaulted ceiling and seating facing the ocean and pool providing a great location for social gatherings, greeting guests, or relaxing while waiting for that special someone to arrive island time.
Villa la Bella is oceanfront on the Carribean side of the island, only 2.5 miles from Playa Norte and Puenta Sur, away from the crowds but close enough for the convenience of other island activities.
All guest quarters have an ocean view, each with a king size bed, large vertical shower with real conch shell shower head, ceiling fan and bottled water. Discover the comfort of sleeping in a hammock while being lulled by the ocean's waves and cooled by the breeze. A special Villa la Bella breakfast is complimentary with your stay.
Honeymoon Suite
Our large air conditioned honeymoon suite is located upstairs in the main house and has skylights in the living/lounging area, a mini fridge, king size bed, large open shower, and two decks overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.
Contemporary Bungalows
Our 3 contemporary bungalows are fully air conditioned rooms located just steps from the fresh water pool, each with a view of the ocean and beach, conveniently located on the ground level, king size bed, ceiling fan and contemporary Mexican decor.
Palapa Suites
Our 2 large, second floor authentic palm frond palapa suites provide an incredibly unique experience each with hanging king size bed with tropical mosquito netting. Spend a relaxing evening in your tropical oasis designed for the adventurous with a desire for a true taste of Mexico. Enjoy open-air living exposing breathtaking vistas. Each suite has a large bathroom and a lounging area overlooking the property, beach and turquoise ocean.
- Rates are in US dollars per night for 1 or 2 adults over 18 years of age and include tax and breakfast.
- Extra person charge ONLY allowed in Honeymoon Suite is $50 US per night.
- Monday breakfast is coffee or juice and local sweetbread.
- Breakfast Tuesday- Sunday is coffee, tea or juice; local sweetbread; fresh seasonal fruit and a main dish.
- Children under 18 years of age are not allowed except when renting ALL rooms.
Turtle Season
Watch giant tortugas lay their eggs from May to mid July right on our beach. It's amazing!
